But soon they learn their terrifying life-long crush is close by, and he has plans to ruin their newfound freedom--plans years in the making. Will they suffer the tortures he has in store for them, or will the truth of what happened three years ago set everyone free?

Shelley and Rachel are saved from a mob by Mike, a man who exemplifies everything they've been taught to hate about Republicans. But still, they kind of like him despite their strong feminist stance against men. Will they throw off the shackles of their academic, Democratic elitism and give into their feelings, or will they finally get that tattoo they've always wanted?
Listener note: This book and its review are politically charged, which may not be to everyone's taste. Also Rachel says "first" instead of "third" when talking about feminism, and is really, really bad at math.
